Hey everyone!  Sooo, this is part 2 of the AG photoshoot I did..Elizabeth's not included in this one, either, because her photos just will NOT upload, for whatever reason..Ugh!

  And now I believe I'll try rearranging all my dolls on my shelves xD  The one problem about being a bookworm AND being a doll collector is the limited shelf space in your room...so if you don't hear from me in about a week, I'm probably buried in copious amounts of dolls and books...

Photoshoot for my AG dolls =] (Part 1)

Hey everyone! FINALLY got my photoshoot for the American Girl dolls done, so here are a few of my favorites!

I was going to put ALL of them on here, but Blogger's being weird and not uploading right...so here's the pictures that *will* come up.  Hopefully, I'll get the rest up sometime soon!

I'm Still Alive....

Oh my gosh, guys...I am SO sorry!!  I haven't posted anything in almost a MONTH?!  I am so, so sorry!  I haven't been hearing of any extremely major Disney news or anything doll related happening, excluding the current mass hysteria going on over Frozen merchandise, causing everything to sell out in the Disney Stores, online, and causing prices to skyrocket on eBay for anything Frozen... xD
Soo...with lack of a better subject to talk about, how does everyone care for their dolls?  Do you do anything with them, such as scrubbing them, washing their hair once in awhile, etc.?  I know (and I need to do this soon, too) that for my American Girl dolls and a couple others, I lightly mist their hair with this fabric softener / water solution (just a teeennnnsy tiny amount of fabric softener in a squirt bottle, fill 'er up with water and there ya go) and then brush their hair out, and change their hairstyle so they don't get any weird kinks/waves from being in a certain hairstyle too long; then I sometimes give them a baking soda scrub (depending on how dusty they are from being on display), change their clothes (so the colors don't bleed onto their vinyl and stain them), and then set them back up on display.
Anyone else do this, or is it just me?  :P 

And as far as new posts, I'm gonna try to get some photoshoots done or something..anything..!  Maybe I'll try taking some pics of my American Girls, I don't take pictures of them much...hmm...afternoon project for this wintery day, perhaps?  =D 

New Year, new doll news! =D

Hey everyone!!  I hope you all had a great day yesterday (and everyday :P )! 
I'll be doing a review of my new "Art of Frozen" book soon, as well as the soundtrack, so this blog's gonna start getting pretty Frozen-ified.. =P 

American Girl's new 2014 GOTY is Isabelle -  a lot  of you probably already knew that if you're big into the doll blogiverse, but I didn't want to post any spoilers for those who didn't want them!  Is anyone getting her? 

And the Disney Store is coming out with more Frozen LE dolls - another Anna and Elsa.  
Aren't they GORGEOUS?!  They're coming out on sale January 10th....edition size of 5,000 each. 
Anyone getting them?

And with the new year...I've been considering trying to more focus in my doll collections.  My major collections are Frozen and Tangled, but I have a few random gals just hanging around, so I'm considering downsizing them so I can have more room (and more focus) on my main collections.  Not sure, though...anyone have any thoughts on this? 

And as far as resolutions go, I'm just going to try to get back into shape (I haven't been able to ride in a couple of months...ugh!), read my Bible more, try to improve my horsemanship skills, try to be more accepting of certain people I know, and keep this blog going for you all!  Anyone have any ideas on what you'd like to see on this blog?  Sketches, more photoshoots, etc?  I got a camera for Christmas so I'll have better quality pics!!!!! (=

OH!  Another little snippet of info.  Apparently, Frozen will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD on March 18th, 2014!!!!!  Yayy!!! Only a coupla months to go!  Anyone buying the DVD?  I know I will be!  And to any Marvel fans out there, Thor: The Dark World will *supposedly* be released March 20th.  I'll also be getting it - can't wait to see it! :D

 

So...for now, I *think* that's about it.  Anyone have any New Year's resolutions?  :) 

Merry Christmas, and a quick post!

Hey everyone!!  I AM ALIVE!!!
Whew.  The church youth play was last night.  Everyone did an amazingly great job!!!!! (:  I must admit, though, I am already missing having to plan for play practices... =D 
But it's done for another year, regardless!

I want to do a Christmas-y photoshoot with my Disney dolls, but I'm not too sure how, and I don't have very Christmas-y outfits (I need to make or buy some clothes xD).  But then again...I may be able to get some AG doll pics.  I don't take photos of them too often..hmm...
And I also will plan to do a review for the Deluxe 2-disc Frozen soundtrack that I got sometime this month.  Lemme tell ya, it is AMAZING.  I'm actually listening to one of the songs from it right now =P 

In other news, I heard that Frozen will be released on DVD & Blu-Ray March 18th, 2014...?  Don't take this with a grain of salt, but I saw it on Walmart's preorder page for the DVD.  I'm hoping it is that date, though!!   I can't wait to see it again =}

And I hope everyone has a wonderful, blessed Merry Christmas, and don't forget to keep in mind the meaning why we celebrate this particular day!! :) 

Finally, I'd like to thank everyone for hanging in there with me, guys...over 2500 views and nine followers?  You guys are amazing...thank you so much!!! I felt so bad because I just didn't have the time to post this month, hardly at ALL..!

Annd....I think that's about it.  Anyone have plans for Christmas?  Did anyone else participate in a church Christmas program? 

Random stuff and update on Rapunzel

Hi everyone!
I have a ton of review /comparison posts I want to do, and have taken pics for and everything, but I just haven't been able to get them done.  Sorry!  Hopefully they will be posted sometime soon.

I also saw the other day on Pinterest that American Girl is retiring Molly & Emily this year...so if anyone has been tossing around the idea of getting anything from that collection, better do it before everything's sold out!

And also, American Girl has some new inventory in - they have some really cute outfits, and these hair accessory things (not sure what to call them lol), they're like buns, ponytails, braided headband things, and streaked hair extension things.  The ponytails and headbands are my personal favorites.
Anyone have any favorite new things from AG?

Annd yesterday, I finally got a replacement for my messed up new Rapunzel doll from the Disney Store.  I guess enough people complained about the rubber bands, because her feet were fastened in the box with wire, and her hands were more loosely wrapped with them.  And the weird short hairs weren't there.  Most importantly...
